About Me

My photo
Angel Running Deer
I am a mother of two beautiful teen girls. We love the Great Creator with all our hearts. I am a home school mom, former Marine, activist and environmentalist. My ancestors are Lakota, Blackfoot and French on my father's side and Cherokee, Choctaw and Irish on my mother's side. My mother's name is Betty Snow Deer as a family tradition we are all in the Deer name family. This was important for us to keep our heritage and so I was named Running Deer as a child because of my ability to run and climb mountains. My oldest daughter was born and looked up at me so wide eyed that her name was given as Doe Eyes. My youngest daughter was very tiny and still is extreemly petite she is gentle and mild tempered even at birth so her name Little Fawn was given.
